The best thing to do is to research it before agreeing to purchase anything. I have to say that I learned this the hard way. When my husband was self employed and we had money to blow, I would just buy things because I wanted them. My husband and I recently decided that we were going to switch to satellite TV. We had been paying for regular cable for many years and it was becoming way too expensive. I went online and started looking up different testimonials and reviews for the satellite companies. Out of all of the ones that I looked at, Direct TV reviews had the best ratings and offers. I was really surprised at just how many great reviews that I read. Everyone was more than happy with their services.

I would try and minimize some of our bills, I figured that to start. We could save a lot of money every month just by switching to DIRECT TV. The reviews said that people could actually save money but I never knew just how much until we actually got our first bill. With how much money we were saving, both my husband and I were very impressed.
DIRECT TV was really there to help me, the day that I signed up with them. There was nothing like having great customer service and friendly personnel. I wasn't put on hold nor did I have to wait on answers. They were very thorough and answered all of my questions in a timely manner. When they told me that a technician could come out the next day and install my services, I was really dismayed. I was really happy about that. Most all of the reviews that I read said that the technicians were out within 2 to 3 days. So, I figured that's how long it would take but not for me! They were out the next day and it did not take them long at all to install everything. They even walked me through everything that they were doing. They were very friendly and professional.
The certain reviews talk very highly of the company and of the service. They also say that this particular satellite company has some of the greatest entertainment available to customers. They are absolutely right. I love the HD programming and HD DVR as well as my husband. When we are at work, we can record movies and watch them together when we get home. My husband really likes the sports programming.
I was able to purchase a sports package for very cheap. I couldn't believe all of the amazing channels that we got. I really don't understand how a company can let things go that easily. I really don't see how they make any money because they are barely charging their customers for services. New customers have so many great advantages like FREE HD, FREE HD DVR, FREE installation and FREE HD receivers as well as FREE HBO, CINEMAX, SHOWTIME and STARZ for the first 3 months of services. Who could pass up such an amazing deal? I know that I couldn't. I am so glad that we decided to do away with cable and switch to DIRECT TV.
